1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StyleHub ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including customers, salon owners, and administrators.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Platform Description

StyleHub is an online marketplace that connects customers with salon and beauty service providers. We facilitate bookings, payments, and communications between customers and salon owners. StyleHub is not a salon service provider — we are a technology platform that enables transactions between independent parties.

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by salon owners listed on our platform. Customers engage with salon owners at their own discretion.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use StyleHub, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. StyleHub is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.

3.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3.4 One Account Per User

Each person may maintain only one customer account. Salon owners may have one account per salon. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

4. Booking Policy

4.1 Booking Process

Bookings are confirmed upon payment of the ₹30 booking fee. A 4-digit booking code is generated and sent to your registered mobile number. This code must be presented at the salon to confirm your appointment.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after the salon owner accepts it. Pending bookings may be declined by the salon owner, in which case the booking fee will be fully refunded.

4.3 Arrival

Customers are expected to arrive at the salon at the booked time. Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or cancellation at the salon's discretion. StyleHub is not responsible for disputes arising from late arrivals.

4.4 Booking Code

The 4-digit booking code is unique to each appointment. Do not share this code with anyone other than the salon staff. StyleHub is not responsible for misuse of shared booking codes.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

• Cancelled 2+ hours before appointment: Full ₹30 booking fee refund within 12 hours
• Cancelled within 2 hours of appointment: Booking fee is non-refundable
• No-show: Booking fee is forfeited; no refund

5.2 Salon Cancellations

If a salon cancels your confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund of the booking fee within 12 hours. StyleHub may also provide a discount coupon as compensation for the inconvenience.

5.3 Refund Processing

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 3–7 business days after StyleHub initiates the refund).

5.4 Service Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must raise a complaint within 24 hours of the appointment through the StyleHub platform. StyleHub will mediate but is not liable for service quality disputes.

6. Payments

All payments on StyleHub are processed through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service. The ₹30 booking fee is charged at the time of booking and deducted from your final bill at the salon.

StyleHub charges a platform fee on each completed transaction. This fee is included in the service price displayed and is not charged separately to customers.

Membership fees for salon owners are charged in advance for the selected plan duration. Membership fees are non-refundable except as specified in the Service Agreement.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Only customers who have completed a booking at a salon may leave a review. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your personal experience. The following are prohibited:

• False, misleading, or defamatory reviews
• Reviews containing personal attacks, hate speech, or offensive content
• Reviews posted in exchange for compensation
• Reviews by salon owners about their own or competitors' salons

StyleHub reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines. Salon owners may respond to reviews through the platform.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use StyleHub to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or salon staff
• Post false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data
• Circumvent any security or access control measures
• Engage in fraudulent bookings or payment fraud

Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Salon Owner Obligations

Salon owners who list their business on StyleHub agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their salon, services, and pricing
• Honor confirmed bookings and provide the booked services
• Maintain valid business licenses and comply with local regulations
• Respond to booking requests within the specified timeframe
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards
• Not engage in discriminatory practices
• Pay membership fees on time to maintain active listing status

StyleHub reserves the right to remove salon listings that violate these obligations or receive consistently negative feedback.

10. Limitation of Liability

StyleHub is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by salon owners. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StyleHub's liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

StyleHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on StyleHub including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software is owned by StyleHub or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant StyleHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform.

12. Termination

StyleHub may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of StyleHub shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through StyleHub's customer support. For unresolved disputes, mediation through a mutually agreed mediator is encouraged.
